Mac Shutdown X is an small utilities designed for Mac OS X to shutdown the Mac on a specified event or on a specified date and time. It can help a user start a download of big files over the net and have the Mac automatically turned off when the download is finished in the night. It is customizable using a easy to use setting setup panel (no coding or editing of script required). - On a scheduled plan

With the 'On date' option you can specify the date and time you prefer. The 'On event' option is the more powerful and it let you have the Mac turned down when it has finished its job if unattended. At launch let you launch it via other software and perform the shut down. Mac Shutdown X is the successor on Mac OS X of our old Shutdown Controller for Mac OS Classic.
